I CANNOT believe that you say to DISCARD GIBLETS!! HEAVENS NO!!!! I always make “giblet gravy!” Simmer them in water (EXCEPT the liver, which you can cook with the turkey during the last 45 minutes or so of cooking time) with salt & pepper. When the giblets are tender, after a couple of hours, diceinto tiny pieces and throw them into the gravy. They are WONDERFUL!!! HOW could you tell people to toss them??? That’s a No-No!!!
